Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
DraftParty ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application or related services (the "App").
This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect and process the minimum information necessary to provide our services.
In-App Purchases (via RevenueCat)
When you purchase a subscription or premium features, we receive limited purchase information through RevenueCat, including:
Product identifiers
Purchase receipts
Subscription status
Anonymous user identifier
Device and platform information
IP address and region (for fraud prevention and tax compliance)
Provider: RevenueCat, Inc.
Advertising (via Google AdMob)
The App displays interstitial ads to players who do not have an active premium subscription. Google AdMob may collect and process:
Device advertising identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS)
Device and general location information derived from IP address
Ad interaction data, such as impressions and clicks
On iOS, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier is used to personalise ads. If you decline, ads are still shown but are non-personalised.
Provider: Google LLC (AdMob).
Analytics (via PostHog)
We use PostHog to understand how the App is used so we can improve it. PostHog collects:
Anonymous device identifiers
Screens viewed and in-app actions taken, such as starting a draft or completing a game
Device type, operating system version, and app version
General region derived from IP address
We do not create personal user accounts, and these analytics profiles are anonymous.
Provider: PostHog, Inc.
AI Judging (via Google Gemini)
If you use the Auto Judge feature, the drafted item names and the category name for that game are sent to our server and forwarded to Google's Gemini API to generate the result. For custom drafts, this includes the item names you typed. Please do not enter personal information into custom drafts.
Provider: Google LLC (Gemini API).
App Settings (Stored Locally)
The App stores certain preferences locally on your device, including:
Subscription or premium status
First-time setup status
App preferences and settings
These settings are stored locally using your device's storage. We do not access or transfer this information.
Content Delivery
When the App loads templates or other application content from our servers or content delivery providers, your IP address may appear in standard web server logs.
We do not create personal user accounts or profiles.
External Links and System Sharing
If you open external links or use your device's sharing features, those actions are handled by your operating system. We do not monitor or record those activities.
We do not collect names, contact lists, photos, precise location data, or other similar personal content unless you voluntarily provide it by contacting us.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Process and manage subscriptions and in-app purchases
Verify purchases and prevent fraud
Deliver app content and maintain service reliability
Store your preferences so the App functions correctly
Maintain the security and operation of our services
Our legal bases under the GDPR include:
Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b))
Legitimate interests for security and fraud prevention (Art. 6(1)(f))
3. Sharing of Information
We may share limited information with trusted service providers, including:
RevenueCat, Inc. for subscription management and purchase validation
Google LLC (AdMob) for serving advertisements
PostHog, Inc. for product analytics
Google LLC (Gemini API) for generating Auto Judge results
Hosting and content delivery providers for delivering app content and maintaining infrastructure
These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are used.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Storage and Retention
App settings remain on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data.
Purchase information is retained by RevenueCat and payment processors as required for legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
Server logs are retained only for a limited period, generally up to 30 days, for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting.
5. Your Rights (EU/EEA Users)
If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have the right to:
Access your personal data
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your personal data
Restrict processing

Request data portability
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise these rights, please contact us at:
6. Children's Privacy
DraftParty is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Some of our categories reference games, films, and music that are popular with younger players. This does not change who the App is intended for, and we ask parents and guardians to supervise use by anyone under 13.
What we do not collect
We do not create user accounts, and we never ask for a name, email address, phone number, photograph, contact list, or precise location.
What is collected while you play
As described in Section 1, Google AdMob receives device advertising identifiers and ad interaction data, and PostHog receives an anonymous device identifier along with information about screens viewed and actions taken. If you use Auto Judge, the item names in your draft are sent to Google's Gemini API. Please do not type personal information into custom drafts.
Advertising and younger players
Ads are supplied by Google. On iOS they are only personalised if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, which you may decline at any time; declining leaves the App fully playable. Purchasing premium removes ads entirely.
Minimum age for consent in the EEA and UK
Depending on where you live, the minimum age at which you can consent to your data being processed may be higher than 13, up to 16. If you are below that age in your country, please use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
For parents and guardians
If you believe a child under 13 has used the App and you would like us to review or delete information associated with their device, contact us at draftparty.app@gmail.com. We will delete it promptly and without charge. You may also reset or delete the advertising identifier in your device settings, and uninstalling the App removes everything stored locally.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
